Produced with tender loving care in the Rapunzel oil mill. The oil has a fine, nutty flavor with a typical bitter note to it. Linseed oil is produced with the special OXYGUARD® procedure. This processing step ensures that all valuable oil ingredients are preserved. Rapunzel OXYGUARD® linseed oil virgin is an excellent source of essential, polyunsaturated fatty acids. It is particularly rich in triple unsaturated linolenic acid.
Preparation
Virgin linseed oil is carefully pressed using the OXYGUARD® procedure. Throughout the entire process from the oil extraction all the way to the filling process the oil is protected from light, air and heat.
